A homeowner on Spring Meadow Road reported a potential mailbox tampering affecting access to their credit card in the name of ‘Nathan Grate’. The homeowner was able to intercept the new credit card in his mail to stop the fraud.

Please pay close attention to your mail and mailboxes. Check your mail daily to ensure timely removal of mail to minimize the risk of sensitive information being obtained. Always shred or destroy any sensitive information before discarding it in the trash. Tax time is upon us and the temptation of dishonesty is too great for thieves.
